Will the sensor rewards continue to be received?

PLANETS rewards will continue to be received if your sensor is eligible for that day, as it has worked so far. 

 

What will happen to my PLANET tokens?

Eventually, PLANETS holders will be offered AMBIENT tokens via a straight-forward conversion to get everyone settled into the new network. Further details to be shared in the coming weeks.

 

What will happen to the licenses that are not yet activated? 

If you have a license and an approved sensor not yet activated, you can still use it to onboard your sensor.  In the coming weeks we will communicate incentives in AMBIENT tokens for inactive license holders, including inactive licenses that were used to redeem Loyalty Program.

 

What will happen to the renewals that are not yet activated? 

As we approach the launch on Solana, all the licenses connected to sensors that are about to expire before October 1st, 2024 will be extended until this date. More information about license renewals will be released in the coming weeks.

 

How will needed licenses and renewals be purchased now? 

As we enhance our systems for a more robust launch of the new network, we'll temporarily pause the online sale of licenses and sensors. We appreciate your patience during this upgrade, and invite you to stay connected via Ambient's channels for news on when services will resume.

 

Will the Hodler Program continue until February 2025? 

Yes, the Hodler Program will continue working as it has so far, and will continue in AMBIENT tokens in the future. More details will be published in the coming weeks. 

 

Will the Loyalty Program still work on sensor sales?  What can I do with the perks redeemed?

We are going to temporarily pause online sales of sensors, so we will pause the Loyalty Program and hide the dedicated section on the Explorer.  We will provide further information in the coming weeks.

 

What will happen to my license and sensor discount vouchers and to the remaining balance on my e-commerce account?

We are going to temporarily pause online sales of licenses and sensors, so for the time being it will not be possible to use sensor and license discount vouchers or to use the remaining balance on the e-commerce wallet. We will provide further information in the coming weeks.

 

What will happen to the PW Credits?

The PW:Credits were used to redeem sensor and license discount vouchers. Since we are going to temporarily pause online sales of licenses and sensors, it will not be possible to purchase new discount vouchers with the PW:Credits.

 

Will you replace my depleted Kaiterra cartridge for the sensor I bought from PW?

Ambient is already in contact with Kaiterra to explore ways to best support network devices moving forward.
